Postcards from Hawaii

Taking photographs with my analog camera feels like creating on a deeper level—every shot is intentional, every frame a moment frozen in time. The Hawaii Project is my most personal work so far, which is why I wanted to capture the everyday moments that, to me, felt like a dream come true.

Photographing the simple yet breathtaking scenes I encountered on the islands became the perfect way to tell the story of why I went to Hawaii in the first place. These images hold more than just landscapes; they capture feelings—warmth, nostalgia, and the delicate beauty of a place that felt almost unreal.

​When I returned home, I immediately developed the film. Seeing the photographs for the first time after development felt like stepping back into that dream, allowing me to relive my time in Hawaii. And so, they became my Postcards from Hawaii—a collection of moments that will always take me back.
